What a week it's been already! Is it really only Tuesday?
We are packing furiously now that I'm home from work, taking off to drive part way to Dubuque IA tonight, and drive all day tomorrow to get there sometime in the evening. We'll attend my uncle's funeral on Thursday morning and head out early on Friday morning for Tom to be back for Sunday services. I"m taking a minimum of art supplies and my computer, along for entertainment if we have time at the hotels, with some work to catch up on in the long car drive, and a couple of books. It will be good to see family and to get away. We do have family we could stay with, but we are feeling a need for some time alone to unwind a bit in the midst of the whirlwind trip.
